Web Development Club (WDC)

Web Development club is an organization uniting those interested in coding, specifically in web development. The club provides a stepping stone for experienced and inexperienced coders alike. Students have the opportunity to learn, apply, and showcase their coding skills in interactive guided projects and lessons. The year will begin with lessons in general web development in languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript, but students will move towards creating individual projects with assistance from officers and peers. The officers will provide technical assistance and resources. Members have the freedom to specialize on the side of web development they prefer, whether it be UI/UX design, front-end development, or back-end development. This also allows members to experience what it’s like to work for a team in a company at their future jobs.
