Mu Alpha Theta (MAΘ)

Mu Alpha Theta is a Math Honors Society that aims to inspire and aid students in STEM. Furthermore, Mu Alpha Theta aims to inspire keen interest in mathematics, develop strong scholarship in the subject, and promote the enjoyment of mathematics in high school. We uphold these principles through our numerous charity events, academic workshops, and tutoring around the community. Our goal is to dismantle the daunting image people correlate with the subject by introducing fun ways to learn complex concepts and altering common teaching methods to make learning easier for students. Each year, we participate in numerous competitions and host multiple school events such as our annual dodgeball tournament and Mega-Mathletes competition.
