Girl Up

GirlUp is partnered with the United Nations to support programs that give adolescent girls in developing countries an equal chance for education, health, social and economic opportunities, and a life free from violence. At Girl Up, we believe that investing directly in programs for adolescent girls isn't enough; we must also address the policies and laws (or lack thereof) that impact girls. Our organization aims to help young adults become active in their local community and more involved in social and political issues. We provide a broader platform for young advocates to utilize in order to have their voices heard and discuss intersectional issues. We implement a sense of advocacy -through active lobbying and legislation calls- as a powerful force for change.
