Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society (NSSHS)

Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is the only national organization for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of social studies. Membership in Rho Kappa is an honor bestowed upon students for their accomplishments in the field of social studies and overall academic achievement, encouraging interest in, understanding of, and appreciation for the social studies and service. Rho Kappa provides national recognition and opportunities for exploration in social studies, such as NHD, UIL, and more. Our biggest event of the year is our Around the World Festival, where we showcase a variety of cultures from every corner of the globe through interactive booths, food, and cultural performances!
