Orchestra

The Austin High School Orchestra program is a place for string musicians to develop their skills in one of the most esteemed orchestras in Texas. This program sets itself apart through its sole reliance on the hard work and dedication of its players and has a legacy of fostering a passion for music. The AHS Orchestra is the proud recipient of the 2019 National Mark of Excellence, 2018 Midwest Clinic Orchestra, and has a district high number of All Staters. In addition to enjoying the performance of music itself, you will find opportunities to discover newfound friendships and camaraderie in one of the biggest families at Austin.
